Recently, Bluestar Dongda won the 23rd National Outstanding Patent Award of China for its preparation method of highly active low-volatile polyether polyol. Short cycle, low odor and high activity are the distinctive features of this patent. They make polyether products more energy-saving and eco-friendly, which are in line with the future development direction of the country. The patent award, China’s highest honor in this regard, is co-hosted by China National Intellectual Property Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization. It aims to encourage and commend patent owners and inventors who have made outstanding contributions to technological (design) innovation and economic and social development. Such an award has significantly international influence.

Top chemical companies such as Huntsman and BASF have thrown an “olive branch” to the company. In October 2021, it signed a memorandum of cooperation with BASF to carry out technical cooperation and explore new products based on business cooperation.
